Sri Sankara Madam Varalaru, a book on the history of Kanchipuram Mutt penned by Mahadevam was released at a function organised in Connemera Library at Egmore in Chennai yesterday. Kanchipuram Seer Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal appreciated the author Mahadevan for his extensive research in bringing out the book and released the first copy which was received by Sivalingeswara Swamigal of Sri Kamakshipuri Adheenam, Coimbatore, in presence of L Ganesan, State president, BJP. Poets Pasupathy, Swaminathan, Venkataramayya were present on the occasion.
