Devi Visions Private Limited is producing a film titled Appavi which is being directed by Prominent Kannada filmmaker R Raghuraj. The film has K Bhagyaraj, newcomers Gowtham and Suhani in the cast. A patriotic song which featured 500 students along with the hero was recently shot in Kovalam. The song was penned by Vairamuthu and set to tunes by Joshua Sridhar. The national flag which has been used for this song was 1115 feet long. E Krishnasamy is in charge of the cinematography for the film. This is the first time a lengthier National flag is being used in Indian Cinema.
