After watching late Kannada superstar Vishnuvardhan's last film Aptha Rakshaka namma Superstar Rajinikanth was moved by tears. Rajini had watched the movie along with brothers Ram Kumar and Prabhu. Rajinikanth was very close to late Vishnuvardana who was a big actor in Kannada movies. The actor recently passed away and Rajinikanth had visited Vishnuvardana’s house to pay hi homage. .

Aptha Rakshaka is the sequel of Apthamitra which was remade in Tamil as Chandramukhi with superstar Rajinikanth lead. The film is directed by P. Vasu who directed the Tamil version and Gurukiran has scored the music. The film stars Dr. Vishnuvardhana, Vimala Raman, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Bhavana, Sandhya, Komal Kumar, Srinivasamurthy, Avinash and others. The producer is Krishna Prajwal. The 200 th movie was the last in which the late kannada matinee idol. The film is all set to be released on February 19.
