The two-day 24th edition of multi-city Franchise and Retail Opportunity 2010, a B2B exhibition, opened in Chennai today. The exhibition is aims to attract 3,000 entrepreneurs and professionals. This business to business exhibition would provide an opportunity for franchisers and investors to network and liaison, the President of Franchise India Gaurav Marya told reporters after inaugurating the event here. The event offers business opportunities in exciting fields such as food, beverages, fashion, lifestyle, luxury, health, beauty and fitness, education and training, entertainment, hospitality and travel. Several firms like Gitanjali Jewels, Kwality Walls, Euro Kids, Chicking, Fine Jewellery, Hasbro Clothing, Fitness One, Burger Man, TTK Prestige will participate in the event. The exhibition was conducted here for the first time said Guarav Marya. The event organizers are expecting business transactions worth Rs 15-20 crore. Signups worth of 100 Crore is expected to take place, Said Gaurav Mara. Franchise desires to conduct a similar exhibition in Hyderabad next month. - Agencies.
